Mold Remediation
Heat and humidity across the Southeast make mold a constant risk. Foundry Restoration holds a Florida mold remediation license and follows an approved remediation protocol from containment through cleanup.
Licensed, protocol-driven mold remediation
Some states, including Florida, require mold remediation to be performed by a licensed mold remediator. We contain the affected area, remove what can't be cleaned, and restore the space.
Containment
Isolation of the affected area to help keep mold from spreading during work.
Removal of Affected Materials
Careful removal of mold-affected drywall, insulation and other materials.
Cleaning
Cleaning of salvageable surfaces within the work area.
Moisture Source
We identify the moisture problem that caused the growth so it can be corrected.

Common questions
Does mold remediation require a license in Florida?
Yes. Florida requires mold remediation to be performed by a state-licensed mold remediator. Foundry Restoration is licensed by the State of Florida.
Do I need a mold assessment first?
In many cases an independent mold assessment and protocol is recommended before remediation. We can explain the process during your inspection.
Will the mold come back?
Mold returns when moisture returns. That's why we identify the moisture source as part of the job.
Can you rebuild after remediation?
Yes. We're a licensed general contractor and can handle the reconstruction.
